The Firmus Group organises workshops of pictures taken by mobile phone with which dozens and even hundreds of photos are created per day and which is replacing a digital camera.

The workshops will be run by Mariusz Stachowiak, a photographer, in accordance with the leading theme of his work “Perfect camera? It is the one that you carry with you.”

What is more, Mariusz Stachowiak is also a traveller who sat on the jury of the Grand Photo Contest of National Geographic 2018. He is the author of numerous photo exhibitions, “Smartphone Photo Album” and articles about mobile photography prepared for the Play mobile network.

At the Smartphone Photography Workshop organised by the Firmus Group, he will talk about the art of shooting photos and take a walk together with the participants, during which contest photos will be shot.

Dune Beach Resort and Dune Restaurants which prepared attractive prizes for the winners, are partners of the event. The author of the best photo will receive a voucher for free 2 night stay in the Dune Beach Resort suite. The taker of the second best photo will be awarded a voucher to Dune Restaurants.

To join the workshop write to the email address contact@firmusgroup.pl. The number of places is limited.

The Smartphone Photography Workshop event will take place in the Dune Resort on Saturday, 7 December from 10.00 a.m.

The most recent competition organised by the Firmus Group is a return to the holiday memories of Mielno immortalized in a photo. You can win a stay in the developer’s latest project – Rezydencja Park Mielno at ul. Orła Białego 1.

Holiday memories are usually connected with specific people or places. We are sentimental about such matters, especially when you come across old photographs, reminding you about the Baltic Sea, having fun on the beach and carefree time you had there.

“Photographic memoirs from Mielno” is to remind everyone what our Mielno looked like in the 1980s and 1990s and what our holidays looked like in this beautiful seaside resort. For this reason, we would like to create a unique online exhibition – which you will find under this link.

Last Saturday (12 October) there was the final opening of the educational programme implemented under the banner of Firmus Akademia, which started in April this year, dealing with broadly defined road safety.

Rainy weather did not discourage people who came to the MotoPark in Koszalin. The especially prepared attractions enjoyed a great popularity both among children and adults.

Rally and race car journeys with drivers were to show the borderline between dare-devilry and safe driving as well as prepare for changing weather conditions during autumn and winter.

The participants had also a chance to check out drunk bicycles, alco-goggles and an electric scooter.

A challenge was driving a car with a ball, i.e. the Stewart’s test.

All the participants were supplied with raincoats, warm beverages and a hot meal.

It is difficult to count how many participants took part in the entire “Conscious Driver. Safe way home” programme. They included school students and kindergarten children actively participating in the training as well as families and groups involved in the event prepared as part of the initiative.

Let us hope that the educational programme carried out jointly with the partners i.e. City Hall, Zachodniopomorski Traffic Centre in Koszalin and Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji Warta S.A. will contribute to increased awareness among drivers and each way home will always be safe.

Details of the programme are available at: www.akademiafirmus.pl
