A developer investing in Mielno and its neighbourhood will build the first gated estate of one family houses in Koszalin.

48 houses will be built in the Jamno district. The buildings will be constructed according to 4 different designs: Alesund, Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim. In various stages of the project, the customers will move into houses with greenery and convenient access, and the full infrastructure of the common areas of the estate. Completion of the first stage of the Osiedle Norweskie estate project, comprising 6 houses, is scheduled for early spring 2017.

In our region, there is no shortage of talented photographers. For the photo competition “Closer to Jamno”, we received dozens of fantastic photos presenting Jamno – in our opinion, the most beautiful part of Koszalin.

After lengthy discussions, the jury decided to reward the photos made by: Maciej Czernicki, Anna Klinkosz and Urszula Klisowska.

The winning photos will be published in the next issue of the „Prestiż Magazyn Koszaliński” monthly.

The jurors also decided to award an honourable mention to another photo made by Anna Klinkosz.

In the period 5-7 August 2016, the beach in Mielno housed the Polish Open Kiteboarding Championship in the Slalom category.

It was attended by 24 players, and thanks to the open Championships formula several kite surfers from Qatar also presented their skills. After three days of competitions, the Championship was won by Maks Żakowski, followed by Błażej Ożog as the second, and Dariusz Ziomek as the third.

Anna Zubel was the best among women.

On 30 July 2016, the first ever golf tournament under the Firmus brand name was held.

The competition was attended by 12 players, who played a game on a 9-hole golf course at Alte Farm Rusowo.

The game was very even, but was ultimately won with the advantage of one stroke by Wolfgang Berz (44 strokes), the second place was taken by Marek Rojek (45 strokes). The third place with 49 strokes was taken by Reidar Moistad.

Nearly 35% apartments were already reserved in the first week after the announcement of presale.

The prices of apartments range from PLN 8,500/sq.m. to PLN 10,500/sq.m. The general contractor – Kuncer construction company – expects to complete the project at the end of May 2017. Project financing was provided once again by PKO BP.

This year’s street basketball festival was attended by over forty teams, mostly from the northern part of Poland.

In addition to amateur basketball players, the audience could also see at the court the league players. Among the many attractions which met with a great interest, the audience enjoyed the performance of Mieszko Włodarczyk specialising in ball tricks. Kękę and Paluch also appeared on the scene. This year’s TRIO BASKET was opened together by Piotr Jedliński, the Mayor of Koszalin, and Stein Christian Knutsen, the President of the Firmus Group.
